The landscape design firm of Fischer Schalles was opened in 1983 to provide the Houston residential and commercial marketplace a landscape design alternative that would blend strong architectural design with horticultural expertise. Since then, the firm has continually realized its goal of designing, installing and maintaining gardens whose blend of texture, color, scent and scale have resulted in exterior living spaces that perfectly complement their indoor counterparts.

Suzy Fischer and Mike Gibson.

Suzy manages the design projects, including preliminary, final and working drawings; specifications; cost estimation; contract administration and construction observation.  

Mike supervises construction and maintenance, and offers a rare breadth and depth of horticultural expertise to all our clients, and is also available for ongoing consultations with clients regarding all aspects of the landscape design.
